Just a few Words to my Friends
I just returned home from a DVD night with two friends of mine, made myself a glass of wonderful martini bianco and got ready for writing a blog entry. So here I sit, sipping my martini, classy and pleasurably, thinking about all the things that I have in mind – all those little thoughts that won’t come out as fluently as I’d wish them to, but well, that is quite okay because I have some kind of feeling that this is going to be a short entry dedicated to my friends.
Those people, that are always there for me when I am down. Those who understand that I sometimes do not have time to meet them because I have a lot to do [not only in cause of my helpless perfectionism. [pouring martini in my glass for the second time]. Those who support my dreams, wishes and talents. Those who criticize me – truly, honestly and straight. Those who speak to me because they know that I keep their secrets forever and for always safe in my mind.
Who and where would I be without my beloved ones? What does it count owning a Gucci clutch bag if you do not own the right kind of friends that take you and your Gucci out for dinner? [pouring my third glass]. What does it count owning a Cartier watch if you can’t answer your best friends question for the time? In my opinion – nothing at all.
My dear ones. Thank you for every evening spent, every dinner, every party, every kiss, every DVD night, every sleep over and every Vogue Magazine happening. I love you and you will always be in my heart!
XOXO

Peng! said the Fashion Gun and shot the Austrian
So there it is. I hold it in hands and scroll through it, scanning page by page carefully and enjoying the culture flash meeting high and urban fashion. It is a piece of Austria that helps its country to gain respect for their development in fashion industry – step by step.
Peng! Magazine is actually the first worth mentionable fashion magazine that glazes of profound, intellectual content and a sense for fashion that consolidates urban street style with high fashion labels as easy as you can say ‘Peng!’ out loud.
Last week [Thursday 22nd] the newest issue of Peng! magazine for fashion, music, art and hair premiered at the Berlin Fashion Week with a sensational party and an even more sensational 6th issue called ‘the 6th child’. With starting at the silent story of Constantine & Vincent – a story full of love that embeds various song lines from well known artists such as Bjork, Britney Spears, Madonna, Duffy, Amy Winehouse and Robyn, but also some lines from famous authors like Shakespeare and directors like Peter Jackson and Baz Luhrmann – crossing patterns in brown, blue and orange; meeting artist Clemens Wolf and showing fashionable monitoring grids, checks, rhombs, Leo and houndstooth Peng! magazine covers profound topics and mixes them with fashion and artistic shoots.
Peng! is fashion and style as well as music, art, and hair – it is a world that could be misinterpreted as superficial. It is a magazine that takes topics out of their typical environment and merges is with socially critical, artistic and corporately important contexts and contents.
Finally a magazine fights against the superficial image of the fashion industry and shows that there is not only a profound aspect about fashion but also the process of examination of society, culture and structures.
Peng!…the alert shot against inconsequential ineffectiveness and the eternally same! Join it – enjoy it -love it – just as I do!
XOXO

P.S.: Peng! Magazine is available in its homecountry Austria and now even in Berlin. Go for it and get it.
the Song of the Day…
Well – today was quite a beautiful day. Though it was terribly cold [more than 7 degrees beyond size zero] the sun did shine beautifully and I totally enjoyed wearing my wonderful Dior Shades listening to Pixie Lott’s song ‘Here we go again’ the whole day – it was kind of an infinite loop – well, not kind of…it truly was. I have played it over and over and over and over again and now I think that you should not only know this song, but love it, shake to it and feel the irresistible beat:
HERE WE GO AGAIN
All my friends are going out,
but i’ve been thinking,
maybe i’ll better stay in bed.
The ceiling’s spinning round,
like i’ve been drinking
I’ve got this banging in my head.
(Boom, boom, boom)
I need my-y medicine,
and the cure ain’t aspirin.
I don’t care about tomo-o-o-o-rrow,
here we go again,
here we go again.
I’ll be the last one on the dancefloo-o-o-o-r,
when this party ends,
when this party ends.
I don’t even care (no)
i don’t even care (no)
never want to say,
i-i wish that i’d been there.
(Oooh, Oooh)
I sleep through the alarm,
head on the pillow,
I know i’m gonna pay for this.
I can’t stand missing out,
so when you call me, call me,
i say “okay if you insist”.
(Boom, boom, boom)
I need my-y medicine,
and the cure ain’t aspirin.
I don’t care about tomo-o-o-o-rrow,
here we go again,
here we go again.
I’ll be the last one on the dancefloo-o-o-o-r,
when this party ends,
when this party ends.
I don’t even care (no),
i don’t even care (no),
never want to say,
i-i wish that i’d been there.
(Oooh, Oooh, Oooh)
Never want to stay,
i wish i was there.
I don’t care about tomo-o-o-o-rrow,
here we go again,
here we go again.
I’ll be the last one on the dancefloo-o-o-o-r,
when this party ends,
when this party ends.
I don’t even care (no),
i don’t even care (no),
never want to say,
i-i wish that i’d been there.
While you listen to my recommendation I already shake with my iPod and plugs in ears on my bed. So have a great evening!

P.S.: Did you hear the news about N.? Seems like she can’t get a job after being kicked out of school. Well poor N. – as wisdom says – ‘Karma is a bitch baby and I am the biggest!’.
useabrand – you create fashion
I just arrived at home after attending a press-breakfast I have been invited to. An ancient fellow student of mine Anna Rihl, and her colleague Moritz Baier first found a platform for people who want to create their own fashion called useabrand.com, where you just have to follow three simple steps to become your own fashion designer.
Step 1: Scribble – draw, paint, create what you have in mind and above all, what you would love to wear. Let your creative energies flow and express yourself.
Step 2: Submit – take your PC, Notebook, Netbook, iPhone, BlackBerry [and so on] and go to useabrand.com to create your personal user account.
Step 3: Vote & earn – vote for other designs you like [if you like] and earn votes for your own designs. If you get enough votes your Shirt, Skirt, Trousers, Jeans, Dresses [and so on - there are no bounds for your creativity!] useabrand produces your ideas and you earn money for each piece sold too!
Besides the you-create-fashion design system/ platform the label provides their own accessory line and a Menswear and Womenswear collection by Anna Rihl [the chief designer of useabrand who studied fashion design and already worked for designers such as Christian Lacroix, Wendy&Jim, Servane Gaxotte and Irina Volkonskii] which appears semi-yearly. After a fundamental apprenticeship in fotography Moritz Baier ‘accidentally’ came across fashion while having an inner motivation set in mind that he wants to make fashion accessible for everyone.
After the concept worked out perfectly well online – Anna and Moritz decided to open their own store [where today's press-breakfast took place] in Zollergasse 15, 1070 Vienna, Austria. This shop is defined by definite shaping and unique details, which are typical contents of useabrand’s design concept. They use and old dentist’s table as a cash, antique reflectors to emblaze the store and mannequins which seem to be comfortably observing the scene. The shop is purely white and very sophisticated in its complete look.
I definitely have to say that the whole concept is absolutely great and the store is marvellous. If you want to go for a shopping trip don’t miss visiting useabrand and enjoy their collections and their cooperations with young designers.
Anna and Moritz will have a bright future in my mind – above all because both of them have very interesting design aspects and motivations.
In dedication of their definite designs I will cut out the xoxo this time and leave you to a have a wonderful Tuesday evening with an x.

Cold as You…
A song that captures me every single time I listen to it because it is so personal and deep. It makes my heart bleed but it helps me. It is beautiful and Taylor Swift’s voice make the song even more fragile and perfect.
COLD AS YOU
You have a way of coming easily to me.
And when you take, you take the very best of me.
So I start a fight ’cause I need to feel somethin’
And you do what you want ’cause I’m not what you wanted.
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending given to a perfect day.
Just walk away, no use defending words that you will never say.
And now that I’m sittin’ here thinkin’ it through,
I’ve never been anywhere cold as you.
You put up walls and paint them all a shade of gray.
And I stood there lovin’ you and WISHED them all away.
And you come away with a great little story of a mess
of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you.
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending given to a perfect day.
So just walk away, no use defending words that you will never say.
And now that I’m sittin’ here thinkin’ it through,
I’ve never been anywhere cold as you.
You never did give a damn thing, honey.
But I cried, cried for you.
And I know you wouldn’t have told nobody if I died,
died for you.
(Died for you)
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending give to a perfect day.
Every smile you fake is so condescending.
Counted all the scars you made.
Now that I’m sittin here thinkin’ it through,
I’ve never been anywhere cold as you.
Close your eyes and listen to it when you feel the same pain I do. I am there for you. I feel you.
XOXO
