a Star growing up… Dakota Fanning

As we all know I am not just a ‘private life blogger’ with an attitude to love talking about himself, I am also a fashion blogger with a background, which is fashion design and as a designer I love to inspired by certain personalities and/or characters. Mostly this phase of inspiration comes from an object, a mood or even a certain kind of fabric or style, but this time I am totally suffocated and allured by one special growing up grand dame – mademoisselle Hannah Dakota Fanning, who is not just an incredible, unbelievably talented actress, but a style icon – truly and admirably.
Growing up in front of the cameras and in front of millions of people’s eyes often makes a celebrity go crazy from time to time, but truthfully Dakota just grows up to be more beautiful and more alluring every single day and every single movie she takes part in.
Starting with mini roles in series such as Ally McBeal and The Ellen Show she got her first big role as a supporting actress in I AM SAM playing the daughter of mentally challenged Sean Penn who fights for the custody of his daughter. Playing this role she took over Hollywood with a wonderful smile and was the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Now, at the age of sixteen and 28 movies [Man on Fire, Hide and Seek, War of the Worlds, Charlotte’s Web, Hounddog and Push, which is one of my most favourite Dakota movies] later Dakota is not a girl anymore, but a lady – adult, feminine and self-confident. – with a distinctive sense for fashion and doubtlessly an eye style. I truly admire Dakota for what she symbolises – freshness, vitality and pureness. Therefore, she is this month’s style icon – my personal muse and source of inspiration – and above all evidence that out there true talent, passion, grace and dedication exists.
Get out there and get inspired by anything, anyone, anyhow – as long as you use what you own…talent and dedication.
Love you all.
XOXO
