No, it is definitely not Saturday, but it definitely is time to post a song by the fabulour brit-pop band The Saturdays, which is one of my most favourites actually. I love their first album ‘Chasing Lights’ and even imported it from England, because it wasn’t available in Austria, but nevertheless they brought out their new album ‘Wordshaker’ a couple of weeks ago and yes I have it and another yes for – I love it! It is absolutely poppy and I know a lot of you guys love rock or trance or house or hip hop or r’n’b more, but sometimes you definitely need more pop in your life, because it is way more fun!
When I listen to ‘Open up’ I think about long party nights and after-fights instead of after-drinks with the boyfriend [or ex-boyfriend?!]. It is a song for sunny summer days so enjoy it and love it and think of me, when you listen to it.
