It is love that united them. It is love that make them come together again. And it is love that gave them the chance to share their life until death may them part. Since a couple of hours beautiful Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and handsome Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge are husband and wife to one another, after their beautiful, traditional british wedding today, April 29th 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
Months and months of preparation have been seemingly ignored by the media who actually cared about one single fact – one question that seemed to be more important than the actual wedding or the wedding date or the guest list (Elton John, Victoria Beckham and a lot of royally blooded people) that has been more exclusive than a Sotheby’s auction… the Wedding dress of Catherine!
In the end all the designers seemed to fail with their sketches, drawings and ideas, because, as royal loyalty always wins and therefore, creative director of Alexander McQueen – Sarah Burton – was the number one choice of heart in terms of getting the chance to create a marvelous, classic, elegant, traditional but young and stylish wedding gown for Catherine.
Blogs, blog comments, magazines, newspapers all around the world compared her to classic lady Grace Kelly and let me tell you one thing – no doubt to that, but who wouldn’t want to be compared to the grace and the beauty of this special woman? It is an honor!
Isn’t she a true beauty?
With this wedding the British Royalty made one statement the whole world already knew – we are proud to be British, proud to have traditions and proud to so gifted! Well, who wouldn’t be, with 327 million on the bank and the rest of their millions in diamonds and real estate on one’s hands everyone would live a happy life.
A lot of people would say she chose a golden cage but I dare say she chose a great opportunity of love and above all let us face the fucking great fact! Catherine Elizabeth Middleton is a P-R-I-N-C-E-S-S! And believe I would want to be a princess to one day… and so I am dreaming the night away while watching the Princess Diaries and the Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement with Anne Hathaway being wrapped up in my fabulously British Burberry scarf.
Have a great night whether you decide to party hard or enjoy a relaxing evening. I am with you.
To Catherine and William – may your hearts be united forever. May your love shine brighter than the sun. And may your lives be happy until you reach what every boy and girl is secretly dreaming of since watching their first Walt Disney movie – the state of being happily ever after!
XOXO
